Dream BIG, little ones.
We had a soul-healing Saturday afternoon of running around our backyard. The light was golden, the kids were happy, and I ran inside to grab my camera to capture the moment. I saw them blowing dandelions, running to the water to throw rocks, and hiding behind our oak tree.
And look at his little blonde curls. Oh my. You are my joy, little man.
As we were going in, I said Eleanor, do you want to fly?
You see, we had been playing fairy since she had on her tutu and wings.
She said YES.
I expected her to hold out her arms and gracefully sweep them up and down. Instead, she held her arms as if she was chicken-dancing and proceeded to Phoebe-run to the house.
Oh, child. You are a piece of work. I am not sure if the photo even captures this amazingly awkward running/leaping/flapping movement.
I love you so much, sweet girl. Let's be fairies every day, ok?
