These are a few of our favorite things...
PUZZLES!
Eleanor loves puzzles right now. She can work a 25 piece puzzle on her own, as well as her United States puzzle. She knows 40+ states.
BUBBLES!
Bubbles are great fun out in the backyard. A container of bubbles lasts about 15 minutes...10 minutes of blowing bubbles and then about 5 minutes of "making hand prints" with the puddle of bubble mix that she dumped out.
Visiting the MUSEUM!
The Baylor Mayborn Museum is a fun place to go. Right now there is a children's geography and culture exhibit about the 50 states. This is perfect for her since she loves learning about the states on her puzzle. In the pictures below she is in the pit crew in Indiana at the Indy 500 and learning how to ski in the Rocky Mountains.
Eating CHEERIOS!
Nothing makes Edison happier than eating. His favorite game is to see how many Cheerios he can fit in his hand and then fit his entire hand in his mouth to make the deposit.
STICKERS!
Eleanor loves stickers-- she loves wearing them on her shirt and will empty an entire sheet in no time at all.
GLASSES!
These were just pretend glasses for fun...but I'm afraid that wearing glasses is inevitable for our little girl. It's a good thing she looks great in some tortoise-rimmed frames!
DRIVING THE CAR!
After I pick up Edison from his school, I sit with him in the front seat and we talk about his day (while the car is parked of course). He has recently become infatuated with "driving" the car. He loves to stand in my lap and put his hands on the steering wheel. He must have places to go!
