Happy Easter! Only about a month late. :)
It hasn't felt very "spring"-ish around here lately. It has been COLD and this weekend we even saw a few snow flurries. But, gloriously, we did have beautiful weather on Easter weekend. We enjoyed celebrating with the Gutierrez and Dunn families on Saturday morning with an Easter egg hunt at a park in Ann Arbor.
Sadly, we just had to pass up all the adorable Easter dresses in the stores. It was only about 45 or 50 degrees, so even though it felt warm with the sunshine, long pants and shirts were still required. We made do with this cute bunny shirt, though.
Tah-dah! Look at that arm strength on the monkey bars! Do I see a future gymnast in the works??
We played on the playground after the egg hunt.
Not quite sure about the Easter bunny...no tears, though, which is a definite improvement over the Santa experience a few months ago. :)
Hugo, Connor, and Eleanor-- such sweet friends. I love seeing them run like this, wild and free. Eleanor taught Connor how to gallop and they galloped around the park holding hands. So cute!

Our perfect family. :)
I had intended a very small Easter basket, filled with Target dollar spot treasures like books, a ball, a slinky, and socks in Eleanor's Easter eggs instead of candy. It's not what the holiday is about, after all...but by the time we opened Easter care packages from 2 grandmothers and 2 great-grandmothers, Eleanor had quite a haul. But she sure did have a fun morning opening those eggs!
Say cheese!
Homemade cookies from Honey that we all enjoyed!
Our weather should get warmer this week, although we are expecting thunderstorms to accompany the warm-up. Just in time to start showing our house! Wish us luck on a speedy sale :)
