My mom and Milt came to visit us.
The week went by too fast...
...but the highlight was definitely the last weekend they were here when we went to Mackinac Island.
(It's pronounced mack-in-aww.)
On our drive in we saw a rainbow over Lake Huron.
Mackinac was the perfect location for our little rock collector.
She played on each and every rock shore.
Look at my new rocks!
So beautiful.
Mackinac is a special place. We want to move there!
There are no cars, only bicycles (see the bikes on Main Street in the background below) and horse and buggy. A ferry ride is required to reach the island.
Mackinac Bridage, a 5-mile suspension bridge, links the lower and upper peninsulas of Michigan.
One of the best days I've ever had! So much fun.
