Tour de Tejas
~
I'm a bit late in posting these pics...we went to Texas a couple of weekends ago and had a fabulous time! It was our first time back to Texas for vacation in over a year. Our long weekend was full of eating and football. Highlights of the trip included eating and socializing with friends and family at our favorite restaurants, attending the 100th anniversary of Baylor Homecoming, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
~
Ol' South Pancake House in Fort Worth, Texas with my mom, Milt, and Adam for breakfast. Swedish pancakes, anyone??
Lunch at Gloria's with Rachael and Adam.
Joe T. Garcia's with family for dinner.
Breakfast and shopping with Grandma in Waxahachie on my way to Waco (Adam went early to play some golf with his college buddies).
Baylor Homecoming events are so much fun! We attended the bonfire and pep rally on Friday night.
Watching the Homecoming parade with Lauren and friends on Saturday morning. I have always loved the parade- thousands of people line the streets of Waco and Baylor campus to watch the longest and oldest Homecoming parade in the nation.

Highlights include the bear balloon...
...and the live mascot. Joy walked in the parade and seeing the bear is always a parade highlight.
Baylor football...too bad QB Robert Griffin was injured...there's always next year for a bowl game said Adam, the eternal Baylor football optimist.
D-Fence, Baylor, D-Fence!!!
Attending the Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday.
Watching the game in style.
Good friends...we really miss these guys.
Justin (Adam's roommate before we were married), Adam, and I congratulated Wade Phillips (Cowboys coach) on a great winning game.
I also got to congratulate Cowboys player Miles Austin on his three touchdowns!

We had such a wonderful weekend! There were many, many people we didn't get to see on our short trip, so we will definitely return soon! Viva la Tejas!!
