Bella Grace, the daughter of my wonderful college roommate Abby and her husband Shane. I can't believe she's already a month old! I am looking forward to meeting her. She is so beautiful!

Birthday buddies

One of my favorite times of every year is the beginning of September because PaPa and I share birthday celebrations. We can't spend it together this year because we are miles apart, and truly my heart hurts...but we celebrate together in spirit. I love you, PaPa. Happy birthday!

Adam got a tattoo!!!



















The Old English "D" is a symbol of Detroit and the Detroit Tigers baseball team.




















Even though I really liked it, it (thankfully) wasn't permanent....it was airbrushed on! :)




















So where do you find someone to do airbrush tattoos? We attended an outdoor fair on Friday night called "Arts, Beats, and Eats" in Pontiac, MI. It was such a fun evening! We listened to some live music, ate fair food (yummy!), and purchased some art. In the picture of the fair below, you can also see one of the hospitals that Adam works at in the background- it has blue glass windows. The weather was incredible as well...the perfect evening!















Oh, fair food! I love turkey legs!!! Adam and I split a turkey leg with some amazing homemade BBQ sauce on it.

Such a fun evening...sweet times with my hubby.

Is it really the month of September already? What happened to the summer?? How could it be that school starts next week???
